Improvements @ academy
Good week sorted!
The improvements at the Academy start this week! Should take a few days just to gut out the cafeteria, glad i’m just supervising, too flippin hot!
So, we’ll have the cafeteria, rest room, gym, conference room sorted by the end of July i hope.

It has been decided that the chosen charity for the Pro-am is the local MABS cancer charity. The staff at MABS are fantastic and help many people who suffer with this horrid decease - every little bit of help we can give is a little assistance to someone out there who is suffering.

Q School At Hacienda Del Alamo
In a meeting with Mike Stewart from the PGA yesterday - it has been confirmed that Hacienda Del Alamo will be one of the four locations in Spain for the 2010 Men’s European Tour Q school.

Have had meetings and assessments for the academy today.
Looks like i have to make my mind up where each part of the facility will be placed?
The gym will be in two seperate rooms, next to one another - weights and cardio rooms.
‘Chill out’/rest room where WiFi is fitted with comfortable seating and access to the cafeteria.

Visit to Ireland
Just booked my flights to Ireland.
Going to be at the Euro pro event in Ballymena for the two practice days 21st and 22nd June. Driving down to see Kevin McGrath for a day or so and then in Limerick for see Donal, Ivan and Eamonn on the 24th June.
Got quite a bit of work to do, but really looking forward to it.

Got loads of work to do!
The academy is looking good! So much scope to make it fantastic!
36 bays, putting studio, indoor video centre, classroom, a gym with a physio/masseur room, short game area to die for, 2 large putting greens, a six hole academy course, a cafeteria and the sun!!
This is golfers heaven! If i do this right i will be a very lucky man!

Lots of work today to prepare for the future!
Have agreed with Tommy Horton MBE that we should develop an ‘excellence centre for shortgame and putting’ in Hacienda Del Alamo, Spain.
There aren’t many people that can give so much effective feedback and demonstration as Tommy. He is such a great ambassador for the game and in particular that awkward ‘pitch’,...

Ireland Visit
