Improve your putting by Glenn Billington: -

How many times do you wish you could putt better? You get to the green and then let yourself down with a three or even a four putt.

Well do something about it! NOW!
Professionals attend lessons in putting so why are you ashamed to do the same? Instead of buying a magazine or searching the web for the miracle why don’t you go and see an expert instead, someone who can help?
With Glenn Billington and his team you can get to understand the fundamentals of putting. This will even help your chipping and identify issues in your long game.
What are the fundamentals we need to consider?

THE SIX PUTTING FUNDAMENTS: -
1. Set up & Aim (how can you repeat this?)
2. Direction (where do you send the ball off the club face – straight?)
3. Path & Impact (where do you impact the ball – in the middle of the putter?)
4. Launch (Does the ball roll immediately?)
5. Rotation (do you use your hands or your shoulders to rotate the putter head?)
6. Dynamics & Rhythm (are you a natural putter with good timing?)

The first five fundamentals are technique but the final one rhythm is the feel part of putting.

The next time you play or practice just try and feel which part of your hand is the dominant feature in your stroke. Which one is the one that makes it work, which is the accelerator?

Lucy’s great set-up now allows for a super smooth putting stroke.

Have had the pleasure of working with Lucy Davies for the past two weeks. What a great girl and fantastic player. Lucy was successful at Q school this year and is on her rookie year. So good luck to you lucy.

Lucy has a great stroke now and her set up is solid and strong. We have ensured she has a reasonably side width of stance, infact driver width, to prevent movement during the stroke.

Lucy decided to putt left below and we both feel this suits her better and the results are soon to be seen.

Lucy is now using a 33 inch MLA DEFENDER putter and she likes the feel and alignment design.

More to follow on lucy’s progress during the season. You can check out her website on www.lucydaviesgolf.com
